The decision the flee came suddenly

Conundrum

You know how you start off with something ambitious, and you end up kind of losing interest quickly?

That’s kind of what’s going on with “I’m Not Okay”.

The thing about it is, it was all fine and dandy on paper, but when you put it on the screen, somewhere it gets lost in translation.

I don’t know, I guess I’m just unsatisfied with my progress. Also, people keep missing dates to be on set on time, and people saying, “Oh, I can’t come today, because I’m doing something important with so-and-so”, even though I saw there status earlier which said they were going drinking.

It annoys me how an idea so simple can result in a task so complicated and infuriating.

Another point is; it just isn’t fun anymore.

What I’ve decided to do is; stop the film, do another draft of the script, get some proper funding, and do this thing properly with people who want to work for a living.

Thank you for sticking with me, even though no one actually reads my blogs.

God, I’m so desperately lonely.

From Matt.

I’m Not Okay starts soon.

Hello, true believers.

I’m thrilled to tell you that shooting is going to start soon. I’ll try and keep you as updated as I can whilst shooting, with photos and whatnot.

Anyway, I like how good things seem to pull together at the last minute.

Peace and prosperity,

Matt.

A Brief Update from Matt

Hello fans,

I unfortunately haven’t been postingon here for a while and the reason is that I’ve been working on Matt Crowley Online. If you’ve been watching it then you’ll know that the season can to a finale 2 days ago, but the videos are still on my YouTube account if you feel enclined to watch them.

Anyway, with the season out I’m left with a dialema. Yes, there is a possibility that Matt Crowley Online will return, but what I’m thinking of now is, ”What am I now going to do at the moment?”. Well, I’ll tell you my options.

I’ve had this kind of mad-capped idea for a show. I was watching Watchmen the other day and I was thinking, “You know, I could make this really funny”, like a dark, dark, satirical comedy, yet still grounded in reality, or what the reality might be for a real life superhero. The concept is still in the beta testing phase in terms of actually becoming something, so bare with me if it starts to sound like a bad move.

The story that I came up with would be following Ghost, an amalgamation of my favorite characters growing up, a kind of Marv/Wolverine/Max Payne kind of mix. Anyway, he used to be apart of a team with 2 other heros, whos names I am undecided on. Ghost quit the team because he got sick of the limelight that the team was getting. But after the recent death of his girlfriend, he decides to reunite with the team.

Thats just a potential idea to do next. I’m Not Okay, doesn’t seem to be coming anytime soon so it’ll have to wait, however if it’s going to start, say, tomorrow for example, I’ll go and do that.

I hope you all understand my dialema.

Peace,

Matt.
